THE TORONTO TITANS
MEET OUR COACHES

Our coaching team consists of experienced national and provincial coaches who volunteer their time and expertise to ensure that our athletes receive the optimal level of coaching. Our club also strongly supports the development of coaches by providing aspiring athletes the opportunity to attend coaching courses and to be mentored in-house by our experienced coaches.

REGGIE PEREIRA
HEAD COACH
Reggie Pereira has been involved with Field Hockey for over 20 years as a player and then a coach in Mumbai, and now continues to do the same with the Toronto Titans Field Hockey Club for the past 25 years. He has coached High Performance Field Hockey with Provincial boys’ teams and on the coaching staff with Canada Men’s Indoor Program. Reggie’s love of the sport, and all that he has accomplished being a member of the Toronto Titans drives him to work towards giving back as much as he can to the sport through the club. It brings Reggie great joy to see all that the Toronto Titans have been able to achieve, providing opportunities for young athletes to grow in love with the sport, and strive to be the best they can, both on and off the field. The culture of being part of a family that has been built by the club and is being passed on by our set of young coaches is truly remarkable and something to be proud of.

SHEA LEWIS
COACH
Shea Lewis has been involved in field hockey for nearly her entire life, first picking up a stick at the age of three and beginning competitive play at eight. Toronto Titans was originally founded by her mother, Rhonda Lewis, when Shea and her cousin, Cregan, were children. A few years ago, Cregan, his wife Nicole, and Shea proudly restarted the club to create opportunities for their own children and the next generation of players. Shea represented Ontario from U16 to U21, captaining several teams, and at 18 captained a Canadian representative team at the Junior World Cup in Poland. She also played varsity field hockey at Saint Mary’s University and earned a place on the Queensland state team while attending Bond University in Australia. Shea has been coaching since the age of 16, earned her Level 2 NCCP coaching certification, and has served as an assistant coach with the Ontario U16 girls teams. Today, she is one of the head coaches at Toronto Titans. Outside of hockey, Shea is a lawyer, a proud mother of two sons, and a devoted wife. She remains passionate about developing young athletes and continuing her family’s legacy through the sport.

CREGAN JOSEPH
COACH
Cregan Joseph is a former Canadian National Field Hockey player. He has represented Canada on both the indoor and outdoor teams. As a coach, Cregan has trained players at the club, provincial, varsity, and national level. His knowledge and passion for the game is reflected in his coaching strategies and commitment to developing “thinking athletes”. Outside of field hockey, Cregan runs an electrical contracting business and is a husband and father of three.

NICOLE JOSEPH
COACH
As a coach with the Toronto Titans, Nicole Joseph brings a strong background in both high-performance sport and healthcare. She is a nationally certified coach with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Coaching, combining academic knowledge with practical experience to support athlete development. As a practicing chiropodist, she has a special interest in the biomechanics of sport and specializes in injury prevention. As an athlete, she represented both the Greek and Canadian National Field Hockey teams and served as captain of the York University field hockey team, where she was also recognized as a CIS All-Star. Her leadership and competitive experience shape her coaching philosophy, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and growth. In addition to her professional and athletic achievements, she is a dedicated wife and mother of three, bringing balance, perspective, and passion to everything she does on and off the field.
